The Liverpool No.5 was withdrawn at half-time of the Premier League win over Brighton & Hove Albion on Saturday having hurt his arm.
However, Konate himself reported via social media on Sunday that the issue was ‘not serious’ and at his pre-match press conference today Slot told reporters the centre-back is in contention for selection against the Bundesliga champions at Anfield.
“Yeah, he is available to play,” said the head coach. “And I think also completely recovered, so there is no issue for him to not play because of what he had.
“Then it is up to me to make the decision if he plays or not. But he is in a good place.”
