Aged 18 years and 329 days, Elliott would become the youngest player to represent Liverpool at Wembley and the first 18-year-old to appear for the club in a major final.
Milner, meanwhile, could become the oldest Reds player to play at Wembley. The vice-captain will be 36 years and 54 days old, 22 days the senior of current record holder Kenny Dalglish.

Jürgen Klopp could become the first German manager to win the League Cup and sixth Liverpool boss to do so, after Bob Paisley, Joe Fagan, Roy Evans, Gerard Houllier and Dalglish.
This will be the Reds’ record 13th League Cup final – four more than Aston Villa, Manchester City, Manchester United, Tottenham Hotspur and now Chelsea.
