The Reds claimed three points in the Premier League 2 clash in the capital thanks to an impressive performance.

Blair struck twice in the opening period, with his first coming after just three minutes, while Fulham goalkeeper Michael Allen registered an own goal following pressure from Blair.

Substitute Mateusz Musialowski completed the scoring deep into added time at the end of the fixture, capping off a strong display and the spoils for the visitors.

U21s head coach Barry Lewtas told Liverpoolfc.com post-match: "We knew how we started the game would be really important. We wanted to impose ourselves on the opposition and we did that.

"I was really pleased with that and then we were able to sustain it for a big part of the game. How we pressed and how we closed them down was a real feature. It was a good win for us."

On Blair's two strikes, he added: "I'm over the moon for Harvey. He's had a few injuries and been really unlucky. He was in a real good place and he broke his nose and missed a little bit.

"But he's made so much progress over the course of the season and he played really well today - he deserved his goals."
