Peter Crouch's second-half goals gave Sir Kenny Dalglish's collection of former Reds victory in the annual LFC Foundation charity match, presented by official training partner AXA and in association with Forever Reds.

One hundred per cent of the proceeds raised from the game will support the work of LFC Foundation, as well as supporting beneficiaries – including Forever Reds, Chelsea FC Foundation and Chelsea Players' Trust.

Those funds will help play a key role in LFC Foundation's new strategy, which aims to double fundraising efforts to reach the ambition of helping 500,000 people a season by 2030.

Money raised will also specifically support LFC Foundation's health programmes, which provide physical and mental wellbeing programmes for people of all ages.
