- Wijnaldum volley gives Reds lead on 70
Jürgen Klopp's verdict
The boss spoke to the media at Bramall Lane in his post-match press conference following Liverpool's 1-0 win over Sheffield United.
He said: "All respect to Sheffield United, they did really well and they did that over 95 minutes, that really deserves all the respect. But we had still big chances, I think nearly no-brainers, but that’s how it is… and then we had luck around the goal, that is clear. It was not our biggest chance in the game, unlucky for Sheffield United for sure. So if it would have been a draw I would sit here and say that’s how it was today, Sheffield deserved it and that’s what we deserved. I don’t think we would have deserved to lose but a draw was there if we don’t use the chances. But, with the goal, we got the three points and that leaves me pretty happy in the moment, obviously."

'The three points are all that matter'
Match-winner Gini Wijnaldum acknowleged Liverpool were not at their fluent best today, but felt they could take satisfaction in clinching maximum points against a spirited Sheffield United at Bramall Lane.
He said: “In the beginning of the season it’s good if you collect as many points as possible because normally during the season you progress – so hopefully we’re not at our best now but at the end of the season we will be.
“That’s why it’s really good if you collect a lot of points right now and that’s what we’re doing.
“We didn’t start the game well. The manager showed us back what we did in the first half; we slowed the game down too much and that’s why they could stop our attacks. It was difficult.
“In the second half we tried to do it better but even then it was not the best game we had. But another win, that’s the most important thing. A few years ago we were struggling to win games like this. This season – and last season also – it’s going quite well.”

Here's Opta's take on the game...
Full Time
Sheffield United 0-1 Liverpool
Liverpool get the victory to make it seven wins out of seven in the Premier League so far this season - but was far from straightforward against a spirited Sheffield United side at Bramall Lane.
The hosts posed a threat throughout - and ultimately the Reds had fortune on their side when Dean Henderson allowed Georginio Wijnaldum's volley to squirm under his body in the 70th minute for the only goal of the game.
It is, however, Jürgen Klopp's side's 16th league win in a row as their 100 per cent start to the campaign goes on.
Oxlade-Chamberlain is on for Mane for the final seconds.
Four minutes of added time to be played at Bramall Lane...
Adrian has to be off his line sharply to clear as Clarke looks to go through.
Substitution
Milner is on for Firmino for the final stages.
Chance
Substitute Clarke finds space inside the Liverpool box but hoists a delivery from the left well over the bar.
This game is far from over.
Chance!
Salah goes clean through on goal but he's foiled by Henderson, who makes a smart save at the feet of the No.11.
Henderson keeps out a Salah shot on the spin as the Reds look for a second.
Goal
GOAL!!!! GINI WIJNALDUM!!!!!
Liverpool have the lead at Bramall Lane and it owes much to some good fortune.
Origi's cross is cleared to the edge of the area, where Wijnaldum sends it back goalwards on the volley.
It looks like a routine take for Henderson, but the ball squirms between his legs and rolls over the line.
Big let-off for Liverpool as Sheffield United create a two-on-one situation inside the box.
Thankfully, Robertson blocked from Fleck before Van Dijk thwarted McBurnie's follow-up.
The home team look a real threat.
Adrian needs to turn a long range effort from Norwood around the base of the post.
Origi is instantly involved, but Salah can't get a clean connection on his pull-back into the area.
Substitution
Divock Origi comes on for Jordan Henderson.
Substitution
Robinson makes way for Mousset for the home side in the game's first change.
Mane goes down under a challenge from Lundstram. VAR looks at it. No penalty.
Henderson fires in a cross from the right that his namesake in the Sheffield United goal just reaches before Mane.
McBurnie heads over from a corner.
Henderson is down and needs treatement after an inadvertant collision with Matip.
Van Dijk needs to cut out Fleck's attempted ball for Robinson inside the six-yard box.
Kick-Off
Back under way...
Sheffield United get the game up and running against at Bramall Lane.
Here's how Opta saw the first half...
Half Time
Sheffield United 0-0 Liverpool
The first half comes to a close without a goal at Bramall Lane.
Liverpool have dominated the ball, but Sheffield United have been compact and looked a threat on the break.
Sadio Mane, however, struck the post for the Reds with the game's best chance so far.
Crucial header from Matip denies McBurnie a chance on goal from point-blank range.
Off the post!
Liverpool should be in front.
They break at speed through Salah, who slides in Firmino. He elects to tee up Mane, who slams against the post from close range.
Firmino's attempted follow-up is blocked.
A glorious opportunity.
Wijnaldum scoops well over the bar after Robertson's cut-out cross had rolled for him.
A headed clearance falls for Robertson just outside the left corner of the home box, but he drags his half-volley wide.
Chance!
Liverpool create the game's best opportunity so far, but Mane can't manage to take it.
Van Dijk's long pass from the back picks out the No.10's run in from the left and he goes through on goal, but skews over the bar when faced with Henderson.
Van Dijk has to head away inside the six-yard box with McBurnie waiting to pounce before Robertson blocks a drive from Lundstram.
Salah pounces on a heavy touch from Stevens inside the area but clips well wide of the far post.
Another chance for the Blades as Robinson flashes a shot wide of the far post after they sprung forward at speed.
Wijnaldum has a shot deflected behind for a corner
Not a lot to report in the opening 10 minutes, here.
Liverpool have had all the ball, but Sheffield United have had the game's only chance so far and have looked threatening on the counter.
The game's first chance falls the way of the hosts who break after Liverpool had dominated the ball for the opening 180 seconds.
McBurnie cuts in from the left, but his right-foot strike is straight at Adrian.

Anyway, better late than never, we guess.

We don't expect either to change, so wrap up and stay dry.

As it stands
Here's how the Premier League top six looks before this weekend's action gets under way at Bramall Lane...
'Liverpool is a fantastic, progressive football club'
The words of Chris Wilder in his notes for the matchday programme.
The Sheffield United boss writes: "Liverpool is a fantastic, progressive football club from a technical and tactical sense. The way they move the ball around and win it back is reflected in their league position.
"Also, it should be noted that their players and staff's connection with their fan base is very good, as is ours, and we want that to continue."
Wilder also congratulates Jürgen Klopp on the 'magnificent achievement' of being named Best FIFA Men's Coach for 2019.
Wilder's view
Sheffield United are back in the top flight for the first time since 2006-07. As they prepare to welcome the champions of Europe to Bramall Lane, their manager Chris Wilder wants this kind of high-profile fixture to become a regular occurrence.
He said: "Playing the European champions at home was always going to be one of those fixtures we were looking at.
"I want my team to be competitive as always, as we have been this season.
"But for me, this a reward for the club and the supporters who have followed their club through thick and thin. The long-term challenge is for this to be a regular fixture."
Stat attack
- In Liverpool's current run of 15 consecutive Premier League wins, they’ve scored 42 goals. The front three of Mane (12), Salah (nine) and Firmino (six) have scored 64 per cent of those goals.
- The Reds have lost only one of the last 45 league matches and two of the last 52. They have taken 118 points from the last 135 possible.
- Should Liverpool take all three points today, it will be the first time since 1990 that they have won their first four away matches of a league season.
- Klopp's side are unbeaten in their last 23 Premier League games. Only between May 1987 and March 1988 have the club enjoyed a longer run without defeat in top-flight history (31 games).

Xherdan Shaqiri is sidelined with a calf issue and the contest will come too soon for Alisson Becker, who could resume full training on Sunday.
For Sheffield United, captain Billy Sharp is ruled out through suspension and forward David McGoldrick is unlikely to play because of a groin issue.
