Firmino: Playing at Anfield with Brazil will be unique
Roberto Firmino expects Brazil's friendly with Croatia at Anfield to be a 'unique' experience.
The South Americans will step up their preparations for the World Cup in Russia with an international fixture against Dejan Lovren’s country on the Reds’ home turf this Sunday afternoon.
And while the chance to play at the stadium is nothing new for Firmino, who joined the club three years ago, he does expect a different feeling to do so for A Selecao.
“It will be something unique to play at Anfield together with all Liverpool’s fans,” he said.
“It’s a great stadium with a lovely pitch. It will be a fantastic atmosphere. It will be a huge pleasure for me to play at home because this is my home, so it will be a unique moment.”
Tickets for the match, which kicks off at 3pm BST, are available from £10 for juniors and £30 for adults – click here for more information.
