Liverpool made a special half-time presentation to Brazilian legend Pele during Sunday's clash with Manchester United at Anfield.

The 74-year-old was a guest at the game thanks to SUBWAY, the club's official training food partner.

During the interval, the Reds presented the three-time World Cup winner with a commemorative plaque, with Ian Ayre and Kenny Dalglish handing over the tribute.

It was the first time Pele had ever attended a game at Anfield and Brazil's all-time record national team goalscorer admitted he was impressed by the noise generated by the Kop.

Prior to kick off, he chatted with both Brendan Rodgers and United boss Louis van Gaal, as well as compatriots Lucas Leiva and Philippe Coutinho.
