Getting to know... Gemma Bonner

With just four games remaining, the Reds tackle the Blues at their shared home of the Select Security Stadium in Widnes knowing three points will take them another step closer to retaining their Women's Super League title.

Bonner will lead the Ladies out determined to maintain their outstanding run of recent form - and in the countdown to kick off, took a few moments out of her preparations to try her hand at our 'Getting to Know...' quiz.

I'd have to say my goal away against Bristol last season - but I don't usually score many!

A mix of everything. I'm quite liking Sam Smith and Ed Sheeran at the moment.

Doing something you love every day and having the chance to train daily and improve with the best players around you.

The reason I can't wait to play in the Champions League is...

I can't wait to experience it for the first time! I'm really looking forward to the challenge of playing in Europe's elite competition and being tested against the best players.

Captaining Liverpool Ladies means...

Liverpool is a massive club with great history and I also supported the club growing up, so it is very special for me to be captain and an honour I am extremely proud of.

My favourite place in the city of Liverpool is...

The Albert Dock on the waterfront with all the nice restaurants and bars!

I haven't really been star struck, although having the opportunity to play pool with all the Barcelona players when they were training at St George's Park recently was very surreal.

Martha Harris or Katie Zelem, they both love taking selfies although Zelem only seems to like one half of her face!

Last game of the season, knowing we had qualified for the Champions League and if we won that game we were champions.

Stop using money, it seems to dictate a lot of things now.

I don't really have any apart from I always put my right sock and boot on first.

I used to enjoy watching Carlos Puyol and Lucas Radebe when I was younger, so I tried to learn things from them.
