Luis Alberto Romero Alconchel, born September 28, 1992 in San Jose del Valle, Cadiz, known as Luis Alberto, is a Spanish professional footballer who plays as a striker. A product of Sevilla FC, Alberto spent his first two seasons as a senior with the B team. On April 16, 2011 he made his first-team - and La Liga - debut.

Last season he spent a year on loan at Barcelona's world-famous La Masia. Playing in the Barcelona B side he found the net 11 times and provided an impressive 17 assists in 38 appearances.

Aged just 20, Alberto already has over 100 competitive games to his name. He has made seven first-team appearances for Sevilla. He has also racked up 33 appearances in the Segunda Division for Barcelona B and played 77 games in the Segunda B for Sevilla's second side.

Did you know...

Alberto represents the third piece of business done between Liverpool and Sevilla. The previous two deals were the Reds' signings of Spanish defenders Antonio Barragan and Daniel Ayala in 2005 and 2009 respectively.
