Their letters to Santa Claus may already be halfway to the North Pole but just to prove Christmas isn't just for kids, we asked two young fans to tell us what they'd buy for their LFC-supporting family and friends.

Twelve months ago, Jack Platt and Stella Rogers - two match-going nine-year-olds - were handed the dream job of being LFC Xmas 'present testers' for an afternoon and walked away with more goodies than they knew what to do with.

Fast forward a year and rather than spoil them all over again, Liverpoolfc.com packed them off to the club's superstore in Liverpool One and asked them to come back with the presents they'd want to hand out to their loved ones - and teachers! - this Christmas.

Something for my granddad...

Stella: "I'm picking this golf polo shirt for my granddad. He loves golf. He doesn't play it but he watches it. In fact, all he ever does is watch sport on TV and not just when Liverpool play. Golf, cricket, boxing - if it's sport and it's on TV, he watches it."

Jack: "I've also gone for a polo shirt for my granddad. He doesn't play golf but can wear it when taking me the match in the spring, hopefully to Wembley for the FA Cup final again in May. I think it's smart."

Something for my dad...

Stella: "I'm getting these cool Beats headphones for my dad. All he ever does is listen to hip-hop music and he can wear them when he walks our dog Dylan to the park."

Jack: "I've picked this iPhone cover for my dad because he's always dropping his phone and the one he has now is all chipped. It's also a bit boring, really plain, so I think this would look good, whether he's using it for work or he's out with me and his mates at the match."

Something for my little sister...

Stella: "My little sister Lila loves anything to do with art and crafts so I'm getting her this painting by numbers set. She's not very clever and can't really count very well so she might struggle a bit but she won't care as long as she can get paint everywhere. Not sure my mum will be happy if I give her this, though."

Jack: "My little sister Ella loves teddies so this was an easy choice for me - and with it being Christmas she'll really like this Liverpool reindeer, even though she sometimes winds me up saying she supports Everton."

Something for my dog...

Stella: "I've got to get a present for our dog Dylan. He's a giant labradoodle so he might be too big for this dog bed but it's really comfy and soft so even if he can't fit in it, me or Lila could sit in it when we watch 'Victorious' every night."

Something for my baby brother...

Jack: "My baby brother Tom is only one so can't read yet but he'll love the pictures of Mighty Red in this book and to make sure he grows up to be a Liverpool fan I can read him the story. I just hope he doesn't try to rip the pages out likes he does whenever my dad's reading the Echo."

 Something for my teacher...

Stella: "Mrs Aspinall was my teacher in Year 4 and she just loves Liverpool. Some of our teachers are Everton fans but the nice ones all support Liverpool. I was going to get Mrs Aspinall a dog bed as she's got a dog that she loves but I've gone for this hoody. I think she'll like it."

Jack: "I'm not a teacher's pet so wouldn't normally buy my teacher a Christmas present but seeing as she supports Man U, I had to pick this framed picture of Steven Gerrard in Istanbul. She was going on in class the other day about the year United did the treble - I can't remember because I wasn't even born - but if she needs reminding about how many European Cups we've won this will do the trick."

Something for my cousin...

Jack: "My little cousin Max is three and he's just started to play football so this mini Liverpool ball will help him practise his skills and hopefully become the next Luis Suarez."

Signature football, £10>>

Stella: "I've got this cool hoody for my cousin Owen. It looks really big but he's a giant so it will definitely fit him. He's 11 years old but he's already bigger than my dad. I think he's going to be taller than Peter Crouch by the time he's 13. He's only two years older than me but he's double my size. Freak!"

Grey Leisure hoody, £35>>

Something for my bezzie...

Stella: "If I got my friend Charlie anything other than sweets, he'd kill me. Charlie loves sweets more than anyone else in the whole world. He just has to have sweets all the time. The funny thing is, when he has them he goes crazy. Really crazy. I love it when he has them as he goes off his head and acts really naughty and annoys his mum and dad. When he has orange skittles, that's when he really goes crazy!"

Marshmallow players, £2>>

Jack: "Unfortunately, one of my best friends supports Everton but he likes football so he's alright. With this Subbuteo set he can go the blue team, I'll go the Reds and we can re-enact last season's derby games, especially the FA Cup semi at Wembley. He'll be crying again!"

Something for me...

Stella: "So we can pick three things for ourselves? Cool. The first thing I would get is a new LFC ball. My dog has burst every football I've ever owned so I'm getting this."

Size 5 panel 4PLU PU ball, £10>>

Jack: "I need a new bag for school that will fit my Match Attax folder in and this is just the right size. It's a bit of an unusual colour, same as our third kit, but it's got the Liver Bird on and I think it's quite cool."

Third kit record bag, £25>>

Something else for me...

Stella: "I need a new hat and this looks nice. It'll keep my ears warm and I can wear it to school. Nearly everyone in my class supporters Liverpool, so they'll all like it. There are 30 people in my class and I think there's only two who support Everton and one who supports Spurs. I'd rather have no favourite team than support Everton."

Inca Hat, £10>>

Jack: "When I got my new Liverpool kit in the summer I couldn't decide between this and the red one but went for the home kit because we play in it more. I still like this one, though, and I've gone for the long sleeves so I can wear it for football training during the winter."

Just one more thing for me...

Stella: "This medal looks cool. I thought it was from Instanbul but it says 1978 on it. I think my granddad would like it. Actually, just thought, it would be better if you could peel off the gold and it had chocolate inside it!"

COE medal, £12>>

Jack: "This is an old ball, like the ones my granddad probably used to play with, and I really like it. Not sure if my dad will let me kick it around the streets, though - he's told me it would be best put on display on a shelf in my bedroom but I reckon it'll be okay to play with around the house."
