Players' tribute to the 96
Liverpool players sent out a special message to those who lost their lives at the Hillsborough disaster by sporting the number 96 on the back of their anthem jackets prior to kick-off against Sunderland on Saturday.
Flags at the Stadium of Light were also flown at half-mast as a mark of respect to those who died and to commemorate the release of the Independent Panel's report on Wednesday.
