Continuing our FA Cup final memories feature ahead of Saturday's Wembley showdown with Chelsea, we take a look back at the 1986 all-Merseyside final v Everton.

King Kenny led his team to the League and FA Cup double in his first season as player-manager.

Inspired by two goals from Ian Rush, the Reds produced a fantastic second-half display to come back from a goal down and break Everton's hearts.

Gary Lineker gave the Blues the lead when he outpaced Alan Hansen before slotting home, despite Bruce Grobbelaar saving his initial effort.

Inspired by Great Dane Jan Molby the Reds turned the tide. Rush equalised, Craig Johnston then made it 2-1 before a fantastic third goal sealed the double.

Molby's wonderful pass sent Ronnie Whelan scampering away down the left. His pinpoint cross found Rush who did the rest smashing the ball past Bobby Mimms and knocking over a camera in the process.
