Nazira enjoys dream day
12-year-old Nazira Yusuf saw her Anfield dreams come true this week when she was given the VIP treatment at Melwood.
Nazira met up with Kenny Dalglish and the first team squad before watching training as the players were put through their paces ahead of the clash with Bolton.
Nazira, who arrived at Melwood with her parents and younger brother, underwent an operation last summer to remove 75 per cent of her bowel and intestines after her organs started to decay.
"It was my dream come true and I'll never forget this special day for the rest of my life," said Nazira in an email to LFC. "We were overwhelmed with the hospitality and generosity we received from all the players, manager and staff."
