NewsFirst game for LFC Women at St Helens to be pre-season Merseyside derby
This will be the first match for Matt Beard’s side at their new home ground in a friendly Merseyside derby meeting in the build-up to the upcoming 2024-25 season.
The game on Sunday September 15 kicks off at 2pm BST and will be the final match in the Reds’ pre-season programme, which also includes fixtures against Blackburn Rovers, Aston Villa, Manchester United, Birmingham City and Manchester City. Full fixtures are available here.
All other friendlies for the women’s team will be played behind closed doors at the AXA Melwood Training Centre, aside from a visit to Carrington to take on Manchester United.
The clash with Everton at St Helens will be open to fans and tickets will go on general sale from Monday August 5. Season ticket holders will be able to redeem a complimentary ticket for the match, with full details below.
For the match at St Helens, ticket prices will be:
- Adults - £6
- Over 65s - £3
- Young adults (aged 17 to 21) - £3
- Juniors (aged 16 and under) - £2 (tickets can be purchased at a ratio of 3:1 with at least one accompanying adult)
Group booking discount available
- A 10 per cent discount will be applied for bookings of six or more tickets
- A 15 per cent discount will be applied for bookings of more than 10 tickets
LFC Women season ticket holders are entitled to one complimentary ticket and will need to obtain this, with tickets not automatically allocated.
Tickets will go on sale for season ticket holders on Friday August 2, with supporters also able to purchase a season ticket here.

There will be an away ticket allocation available for Everton supporters. This will be released by the away club in due course.
