Feyenoord forward Igor Paixao has teased that he would be open to joining his old boss, Arne Slot, at Liverpool this summer.

Paixao, 24, was one of Feyenoord's top performers last year as they won the Dutch Cup under Slot, who has since succeeded Jürgen Klopp at Anfield.

The Brazilian plundered 12 goals in all competitions for the Eredivisie outfit and has been linked with a transfer ahead of the new season.

Fans on social media have tipped him to follow in Slot's footsteps - and he didn't exactly shoot down the idea in an interview with Globo Esporte.
