The Three Lions took the lead in Frankfurt after 18 minutes through Harry Kane but were pegged back by Morten Hjulmand's long-range strike.
Alexander-Arnold and his teammates remain top of their group and have the opportunity to clinch qualification for the last 16 when they play Slovenia on Tuesday night.
