LFC WomenEmma Koivisto suffers Euros defeat with Finland

Emma Koivisto completed the full match for Finland on Tuesday night in a 1-0 defeat by Denmark at Women’s Euro 2022.

Koivisto – who joined Liverpool FC Women last week – saw her nation defeated for a second successive game at the summer tournament in Group B.

Pernille Harder’s 72nd-minute rebound was enough to settle the closely-fought encounter at Stadium MK.

Finland will return to action on Saturday evening when they face Germany in their final group fixture.
