AcademyDominic Corness signs extended contract with Liverpool FC
Dominic Corness has signed a new, extended contract with Liverpool FC.
The 19-year-old midfielder is enjoying a breakout season with Barry Lewtas' U21s outfit and has become a regular in the Reds' UEFA Youth League squad.
Liverpool-born Corness arrived at the Academy at the age of five and over the years has emerged as an excellent passer from the middle of the field.
His left foot has earned him the nickname 'The Wand' and makes him a significant presence at set-pieces, memorably scoring two goals direct from corners in one game last season.
Corness signed his first professional contract with the Reds more than 18 months ago and has now further committed his future to the club.
