Matt Beard has named his first Liverpool FC Women starting XI of 2024-25.

The Reds get the new Barclays Women’s Super League season under way by hosting Leicester City at St Helens Stadium in a 2pm BST kick-off today.

Taylor Hinds captains the team as summer signings Gemma Evans and Olivia Smith make their competitive debuts for the club.

Liverpool: Laws, Parry, Clark, Bonner, Evans, Hinds, Nagano, Holland, Höbinger, Smith, Roman H.

Subs: Spencer, Fahey, Matthews, Kapocs, Kiernan, Enderby, Lundgaard, Daniels, Silcock.
