There is a special commemorative edition of the official Liverpool FC matchday programme for the Premier League clash with West Ham United on Sunday.

The fixture will see the club mark the 36th anniversary of the Hillsborough tragedy by paying respects to the 97 fans who lost their lives as a result of the disaster, with the front cover of the programme a tribute too.

Inside the issue, defender Ibrahima Konate explains what is driving him on as the Reds look to build on their strong position at the top of the Premier League table, while we also hear from striker Diogo Jota fresh from his winner in the Merseyside derby in the last game at Anfield.

We get the pre-match thoughts of head coach Arne Slot and captain Virgil van Dijk in their exclusive columns, hear the opinions of ex-Reds defender Gary Gillespie, and have a chat with Liverpool fan and vocalist Lily Fontaine from Mercury Prize-winning band English Teacher.

There is a round-up of the latest match action, a quiz to test your knowledge of defender Conor Bradley, plus some teasers for younger supporters in Mighty Red’s puzzle page.

We also put the focus on an old Liverpool FC crest, look back at some past clashes between the Reds and the Hammers, and put the spotlight on one of the men to have played for both sides, midfielder Mike Marsh.

Copies of this edition can be ordered here.
