ReactionCody Gakpo: We have to keep going because we've got big goals
Maintaining the momentum is Cody Gakpo's aim after Liverpool qualified for the Europa League Round of 16 on Thursday night.
A 4-0 win over LASK at Anfield, coupled with Toulouse's home draw with Union SG, clinched top spot for the Reds in Group E with a game to spare.
Gakpo bagged a goal in each half on the night, with Luis Diaz and Mohamed Salah also on the scoresheet for the hosts.
Offering his reaction to qualifying for the knockout stages, the No.18 told TNT Sports: "I think we should be top of the group with the quality that we have. I don't know if the other game is finished but if we are top of the group, that's well done.
"We have to keep going because we have big goals for the season. That's it.
"We just have to keep going and win as much as possible. As I said before, we have a lot of quality in the group and I think with this quality we can win a lot of games."
Diaz opened the scoring with a well-taken header after 12 minutes that was quickly followed by Gakpo's close-range finish.
Salah netted from the penalty spot in the second half to take his Reds tally to 199, with Gakpo adding the fourth and final goal deep into added time.
The Netherlands forward continued: "I think we started off well, fast goal from Lucho, but I think we could have scored more today. At the end, a good win.
"It's amazing when you score at Anfield, how the fans chant [for] the group. It's amazing."
