LFC WomenCeri Holland and Faye Kirby collect end-of-season awards

Holland received the Players’ Player of the Year prize following a campaign in which the midfielder made 19 appearances and provided four goals as the Reds returned to the Barclays Women’s Super League.
Kirby, meanwhile, collected the Young Player of the Year accolade, with the goalkeeper having impressed and made three WSL starts in the final weeks of the season.
“Thanks for your fantastic support this season, Reds,” said Holland. “It’s been absolutely incredible, your support home and away, we’ve heard you all the way through the season.
“It’s great to be voted Players’ Player [of the Year] by my teammates – an absolute honour to win that award. We can’t wait to see you all next season. Up the Reds.”
