Book nowCelebrate festive season with LFC legends at Forever Reds Christmas Lunch
A celebration to raise funds for Liverpool FC’s official former players association and local good causes, the event is a three-course festive lunch in the company of club greats who have each played their part in the Reds’ rich history.
This includes LFC’s men’s and women’s record goalscorers Ian Rush and Natasha Dowie, and record appearance holder Ian Callaghan.
“Last year was a fantastic event and helped us raise an incredible amount to be able to support Forever Reds and local causes,” said Forever Reds chairman John Aldridge.
“We know it’s been another challenging year and we all look forward to this annual event, getting together at Anfield and meeting the fans who’ve come here to support.
“It’s a huge honour to represent this club and a great event for us all to continue to be a part of the LFC family.”
Last year’s event raised an incredible £65,000, which earlier this year went to three local good causes: Zoe’s Place, Alzheimer’s Society, and Alder Hey Children’s Charity. Read more about the Forever Reds charity donations here.
This year will also feature a very special guest in the form of Reds fan and singer Alfie Boe, who will perform live. He will join the former players who will take part in a live Q&A to relive their days of playing for the club.
There will also be auction prizes and a raffle, with auction prizes including signed LFC merchandise from the current 2023-24 squads, plus a special tickets and travel package to see the Reds away in Europe. Fans will also be able to have photos with members of Forever Reds and receive a limited-edition LFC keepsake.
The creation of Forever Reds has been driven by the club’s desire to ensure former players always feel part of the LFC family – providing support, involving them in important work in the local community, and keeping them informed of new developments.
The Christmas Lunch is strictly over-18s and tickets are available to purchase here, with different packages available.
