NewsCarabao Cup final: Ballot update and ticket allocation breakdown
Since the ballot opened on Monday January 29, 35,708 qualifying supporters registered to be in with a chance of securing a ticket for the match against Chelsea at Wembley.
The ballot is managed independently, with each booking having an equal chance of being selected.
Fans were notified of the outcome of the ballot today, with successful supporters then able to purchase their tickets from Friday February 9.
The club received a full ticket allocation of 32,196 tickets for this all-ticket fixture, which will be played at 3pm GMT on Sunday February 25.
The breakdown of LFC’s full ticket allocation is:
- General supporter allocation: 73 per cent
- Contractual supporter allocation; to include seasonal hospitality members and priority rights holders: 19 per cent
- Matchday officials/first-team players/media: 7 per cent
- Commercial partners – contractual obligations: 1 per cent
LFC would also like to remind supporters to only purchase tickets for the Carabao Cup final from the club, as it is the only official seller of LFC tickets.
Fans should be aware of the risks of buying fake tickets from third-party websites or unofficial sellers, and the real possibility of being refused entry into Wembley. If supporters do purchase tickets from unofficial sellers, the club will not be in a position to help if they are refused entry.
All general admission LFC tickets will be distributed to fans via email in the week building up to the final. There will be no official LFC general admission tickets in circulation ahead of this date, so please beware of any fake tickets. Full details can be found here.
LFC will use digital ticketing for all fans to access the Carabao Cup final. All general admission tickets are strictly non-transferable and are not available to distribute to other supporters. If any supporter is offered tickets, or is aware of tickets being offered for sale, they can report this anonymously here.
All reports of ticket touting, or online ticket fraud, will be investigated in line with the club’s sanctions process. If a supporter has been found to have offered a ticket for sale online, this may result in a lifetime ban for that individual.
To ensure the safety and security of fans, the club urges supporters who do not have a ticket not to travel to London.
Full details of the selling process are available here.
