The Reds have been credited with an interest in signing the Brazilian midfielder for several months. Ederson starred against Liverpool in the Europa League quarter-final and went on to help the Italian club win the competition last month.
Reports emerged on Thursday claiming that Liverpool had reached an agreement to sign Ederson from Atalanta. However, these reports were soon dismissed as further updates stated that no offer had even been made by the Reds to sign the midfielder.
Despite this, it seems that the links between Liverpool and Ederson are not going away anytime soon. As a result, it's not ridiculous to think that the Reds may actually be interested in signing the 24-year-old this summer.
