NewsArne Slot clinches piece of LFC history after win at Man Utd

A brace from Luis Diaz and Mohamed Salah’s second-half finish gave the head coach a third successive competitive win since his appointment during the summer.
Slot’s men registered a third clean sheet in a row too, making him the first Reds boss for 131 years to have shutouts in each of his first three league games – and the first ever to do it for the club in the top flight.
Meanwhile, the Dutchman became the first Liverpool boss to win his opening clash with United since Bob Paisley in November 1975, and only the second ever to win his opening away league encounter versus United – after George Kay did so in November 1936.
