Anfield paid respects to the late David Moores with a period of applause ahead of kick-off on Sunday evening.

The former Liverpool chairman and owner, who oversaw 10 major trophy wins during his 16-year tenure at the club, passed away at the age of 76 last month.

Before the pre-season tie against RC Strasbourg Alsace began, a special tribute took place in honour of Moores – see the moment in the video above.
