FeatureAnfield Road end goals: McDermott's header leaves Paisley in awe
It was a September 1978 afternoon where Liverpool made light work of the visiting Tottenham Hotspur as they prevailed 7-0 on home soil.
The Reds were six goals to the good shortly after the hour mark as their class told in the Merseyside sunshine.
The pick of the efforts was the seventh, though, coming from the head of Terry McDermott, who rounded off the scoring by completing a fantastic move.

Liverpool turned defence into attack in a matter of moments following a Spurs corner.
The ball was cleared, gathered and hit out to the left flank to the onrushing Steve Heighway.
The wide man hit a cross first time that resulted in an inch-perfect ball into the box for the marauding McDermott.
The No.10 met the delivery with a brilliantly timed header that flew into the back of the net in one powerful motion, leaving supporters with their jaws to the floor in amazement at the counter-attack.
"That must be the best goal Anfield has ever seen," said Paisley post-match.
A stunning goal to round off a stunning performance.
