VideoAnfield pays respects ahead of 34th Hillsborough anniversary
With the fixture the Reds’ final home game before April 15, respects were paid to the 97 children, women and men who lost their lives as a result of the disaster at the 1989 FA Cup semi-final.
A minute’s silence was observed before kick-off and a mosaic formed on the Kop, featuring the Eternal Flames and the number 97.
Players also wore black armbands for the match as a mark of respect.
