NewsAnfield crowned UK's Best Landmark at Remarkable Venue Awards 2024
Decided by public vote, this accolade highlights Anfield not only as a symbol of Liverpool FC's rich heritage but also as a cherished destination for millions across the globe.
With nearly 400,000 visitors completing the stadium tour last year, alongside receiving the TripAdvisor Travellers' Choice Award, the UK's Best Landmark award further solidifies Anfield's iconic global reputation.
Tiqets' Remarkable Venue Awards shine a spotlight on excellence in the tourism and cultural industries, with this year's nominees selected from more than two million reviews.
Paul Cuttill, vice-president of stadium operations at LFC, said: "Receiving the Best Landmark award is a real honour. Anfield is one of the world's most renowned and historic stadiums, and this award highlights the unforgettable experiences we strive to provide every visitor.
"We are thrilled to be recognised as a destination that connects with so many people worldwide, and we remain dedicated to ensuring that the memories made here stay with them long after they've left."
This recognition follows the recent refurbishment of the LFC Museum, which has been reimagined with immersive, cutting-edge technology – including multimedia installations – to retell the club's story in a brand-new immersive way.
All the stadium tours and experiences include a visit to the relaunched LFC Museum, which takes visitors on a journey through LFC's humble beginnings to its rise as one of the most historic and famous football clubs.
Anfield will be open this October half-term and has plenty in store to keep young Reds occupied during the autumn break with free activities, Halloween crafts and even a special appearance by Mighty Red, the club's official mascot.
Half-term activities will be on from October 26 until November 3. Here's how to book…
