MatchAndy Robertson set to join Liverpool's 300-appearance club

If the left-back features against Manchester United at Old Trafford, it will be his 300th game for the Reds in all competitions since joining in 2017.

Robertson would become the 64th player overall - and the 13th Scotsman - to achieve that tally of appearances in club history.

Reds captain Virgil van Dijk is in line to play his 200th league game for the club.

Diogo Jota could make his 100th league appearance for the Reds. He has scored 42 league goals so far and in the 35 top-flight games in which he has netted, Liverpool have never lost.

An appearance by Kostas Tsimikas would be his 50th in the league for the Reds.

Arne Slot is aiming to become the first Liverpool boss to win his first encounter with United since Bob Paisley in November 1975.

Meanwhile, Slot could become only the second Liverpool boss ever to win his first away league game against United. George Kay did it when his Reds side won 5-2 at Old Trafford in November 1936.

If the Reds prevent United from scoring, Slot will become the first LFC boss for 131 years to oversee three clean sheets in his opening three league games in charge, and the first ever to do so in the top flight.
