NewsAndy Robertson makes 300th appearance for Liverpool
By running out as part of Arne Slot’s starting XI against Manchester United at Old Trafford, the Scotland captain brought up the milestone figure.
Left-back Robertson – signed from Hull City in 2017 – is the 64th man to play 300 times for the club and the 13th Scotsman among that list.
His tally includes 221 outings in the Premier League and 56 in European competitions (51 Champions League, four Europa League, one UEFA Super Cup).
There have also been 11 appearances in the Emirates FA Cup, seven in the League Cup, three in the FA Community Shield and two in the FIFA Club World Cup.
Along the way, Robertson has won seven major honours, scored 11 goals and delivered 65 assists.
There were also landmarks for Virgil van Dijk and Diogo Jota in Sunday’s game, as they made their 200th and 100th league appearances for the club respectively.
And by replacing Robertson late on, Kostas Tsimikas brought up his 50th league outing at the Reds.
