NewsAlisson Becker voted Liverpool's Men's Player of the Month for March
The goalkeeper claims the award for the first time since October 2022 after topping a recent supporter poll on Liverpoolfc.com.
Alisson took 29 per cent of the vote to beat Mohamed Salah and Dominik Szoboszlai to first place.
Shortly after collecting the trophy, the Brazilian said: "First of the season! I'm so happy. Everybody knows how hard it is to win this award here at this club with Mohamed Salah winning 90 per cent of them!
"It's always special, I think, having the recognition from the supporters from what we are doing on the pitch."
Alisson's month began with what he labelled the performance 'of my life' during the first leg of Liverpool's Champions League last-16 tie with Paris Saint-Germain.
The 32-year-old pulled off a staggering nine saves throughout the encounter at Parc des Princes to set the stage for Harvey Elliott to snatch a 1-0 win late on.
He then helped the Reds beat Southampton 3-1 to further cement their lead at the top of the Premier League, before playing the return fixture with PSG that ended in defeat.
On whether his away performance against PSG was his highlight, he added: "I think that game was special and will be special for my career - for the performance itself and for the win.
"It could have ended in a better way with us qualifying for the next phase of the competition, but what I want always to do is give my best for the team. I'll be ready when they need me."
He continued: "I think that the purpose of losing games is to make yourself better. You have to take the best part of it. In life that's how it works when you have success, you are so excited that you don't look to the things you can improve.
"But when you lose you have to do that, it's compulsory for a football player to look for improvement and it's what we are doing so far and what we want to start to do from the next game on."
On wanting a strong month throughout April, Alisson added: "Not only for me, but for the team as well in terms of results and in terms of performances. We know we have to improve in respect to the last month - but we are ready for that."
