Liverpool FC Women trained at Melwood for the first time on Tuesday afternoon - see our gallery of a landmark session in the club's history now.

The Reds officially took up residence at the club's iconic West Derby base, now their permanent elite training facility, last week.

Matt Beard's squad visit Manchester United Women for a pre-season friendly on Wednesday - and you can watch the behind-closed-doors game live for free on LFCTV GO.

And ahead of that match, they completed their first workout at Melwood.
