Match11 stats to know ahead of Liverpool's Europa League tie with LASK
The sides meet on matchday five of the competition’s group stage, with kick-off 8pm GMT.
Read on for the pick of the pre-match statistics…
In all competitions, Liverpool have found the net in each of their last 29 matches. A goal in this game would see them net in 30 in a row for only the third time in club history and the second time under Jürgen Klopp.
The Reds won the meeting between the sides in Austria in September, coming from behind at half-time to prevail 3-1. Florian Flecker scored for the hosts on 14 minutes, but Klopp’s men replied through a Darwin Nunez penalty, a Luis Diaz effort and a goal two minutes from time by Mohamed Salah.
Liverpool have used 25 different players in their four Europa League games so far this season, with only Harvey Elliott and Wataru Endo starting all of them. Elliott has played in every minute.
Under Klopp, the Reds have won 30 of their 44 group games in European competition, with seven draws and seven defeats. At Anfield they have lost just one of 22 in that sequence.
Summer signing Ryan Gravenberch has scored in each of his two previous European appearances at Anfield for the club.
The Reds have won all nine home games they have played this season in all competitions, scoring 27 times in the process while conceding only four.
They have never before played a European fixture on this date.
LASK are the fifth different Austrian opponent Liverpool have faced in their history, following Austria Vienna, Swarovski Tirol, AK Graz and Red Bull Salzburg.
Going into matchday five, no team in the competition has scored more goals than the Reds, who have netted 12 – along with German clubs Bayer Leverkusen and SC Freiburg.
Following their defeat by Liverpool on matchday one, LASK lost narrowly at Toulouse and were also beaten in their third game in this tournament, at Union SG. They won the return meeting with Union SG 3-0 and currently sit fourth in the group.
The Austrian outfit have won four of their last five matches in all competitions. Last weekend they beat WSG Tirol 1-0 at home, with Robert Zulj scoring his 10th goal of the season.
