Liverpool recorded a brilliant 2-1 victory over Chelsea at Stamford Bridge thanks to first-half goals from Dejan Lovren and Jordan Henderson to continue their fine run of form.
Diego Costa pulled one back for the Blues, but the Reds were able to see out the game to pick up a deserved three points.

Coutinho spins into space inside the box and shoots...it hits Cahill and it's just a touch too far away from Origi for the Belgian to reach it.

It could be 2-2 as Costa collects Matic's knock-down on the edge of the box, swivels and shoots...but Mignolet is able to save with his feet.
Chelsea are in the ascendancy now, though.

Pouncing on a half-clearance 25 yards from goal, the captain controls, takes aim and curls right into the top corner.

Liverpool threaten again as Milner's quickly-taken throw-in releases Sturridge down the left. He darts into the box, pulls off a couple of step-overs and drills agonisingly across the face of goal.

Liverpool are deservedly in front here at Stamford Bridge after dominating the early part of the game - and it's Dejan Lovren who has broken the deadlock.
Philippe Coutinho's deep, in-swinging cross from the left finds Lovren unmarked at the back post, where he side-foots a half-volley into the back of the net with the aplomb of a striker.

Liverpool are piling on the pressure here in the opening exchanges and after a corner was half-cleared by the hosts, Henderson has lashed a half-volley over the bar.
A decent start for us here, though.
Milner swings in a free-kick from a dangerous position on the left, but Lallana is pulled up for a foul.
A much more testing stop for Courtois this time as Sturridge strikes left-footed from the edge of the box. The goalkeeper manages to keep it out, however.
