LFC International Academy to launch in Colorado and Louisiana
Liverpool Football Club is excited to announce a new long-term agreement which will see LFC International Academies launch in both Colorado and Louisiana, the first time the program has been available in these locations.
The agreement will provide unique opportunities for girls and boys, aged 4 to 18, to learn to play ‘The Liverpool Way’.
It will give players the chance to train under the tutelage of Liverpool FC coaches learned in the principles and methodologies that are at the centre of what is taught at LFC’s world-famous training academy in England.
Through the unique coaching methods of Liverpool FC, players will learn to improve technical and tactical aspects of their game whilst learning key life skills centered on the four values of The Liverpool Way; Ambition, Commitment, Dignity and Unity.
Both locations will launch in 2024, providing a year-round offering that will incorporate league and tournament play as well as camps during the holidays.
Coach Education will also be an important element, with local coaches benefitting from a comprehensive coach education scheme, which will include the LFC International Academy global accreditation.
Albert Aguilar, Founder and Owner of the LFC International Academies in Colorado and Louisiana, said: “We are delighted to be able to offer youngsters the chance to learn to play ‘The Liverpool Way’ in the great communities of Colorado and Louisiana.
“Soccer is not only a growing sport in both states, but also a lifestyle and we will be able to deliver a great curriculum on and off the field.”
