Right-back Stephen Darby graduated to Melwood during the summer of 2006 and went on to make six appearances for Liverpool.

<p>The Scouser was a key part of the Reds' 2006 and 2007 FA Youth Cup victories, wearing the captain's armband in the first of those wins.</p><p>He was also skipper when Liverpool Reserves lifted the Dallas Cup following victory over Mexican side Tigres in March 2008.</p><p>Two months later, Darby held aloft the national reserve league trophy at Anfield after a 3-0 win over southern champions Aston Villa.</p><p>The defender made his senior bow as a substitute in a Carling Cup defeat by Tottenham Hotspur on November 12, 2008.</p><p>After a series of loan spells, Darby left Liverpool upon the expiry of his contract in 2012.</p>
