    Right-back Stephen Darby graduated to Melwood during the summer of 2006 and went on to make six appearances for Liverpool.

    The Scouser was a key part of the Reds' 2006 and 2007 FA Youth Cup victories, wearing the captain's armband in the first of those wins.

    He was also skipper when Liverpool Reserves lifted the Dallas Cup following victory over Mexican side Tigres in March 2008.

    Two months later, Darby held aloft the national reserve league trophy at Anfield after a 3-0 win over southern champions Aston Villa.

    The defender made his senior bow as a substitute in a Carling Cup defeat by Tottenham Hotspur on November 12, 2008.

    After a series of loan spells, Darby left Liverpool upon the expiry of his contract in 2012.
