Boyhood Liverpool fan Rickie Lambert sealed a dream move to Anfield from Southampton in 2014.

<p>The switch to the Reds capped a meteoric rise through the divisions for the Scouse striker, who was prolific for Saints on their journey back to the top flight from League One.</p><p>During a difficult collective campaign for Liverpool in 2014-15, Lambert found the target three times, including a maiden goal at Champions League level in the November and a memorable effort away at Aston Villa.</p><p>Overall, he made 36 appearances for the club, before moving on to join West Bromwich Albion in a permanent transfer in July 2015.</p>
