Oussama Assaidi was a Liverpool player for two-and-a-half years, yet spent much of that time away from Anfield as he struggled to cement a place under Brendan Rodgers.
The Moroccan winger was brought to the Reds in August 2012 - the summer Rodgers took the managerial reins - from SC Heerenveen after making his name in Dutch football.
In the season before switching to Merseyside, Assaidi had scored 10 goals in 27 Eredivisie matches to prompt interest from numerous clubs across the continent.
It was Liverpool who captured his signature, though, and a debut arrived in a 5-3 Europa League victory against Young Boys in the September of that year.
Assaidi featured a dozen times for the Reds in his first campaign, showing potential with his acceleration and ability to beat defenders with dribbling skills.
However, to ensure regular football, the attacker joined Stoke City on loan for 2013-14 and thrived at the Britannia Stadium - 25 appearances included five goals.
The following summer, he again joined the Potters temporarily. But, on this occasion, the stay was cut short so that Assaidi could move permanently to Al Ahli Club in January 2015.
