Appearances: 94
Goals: 19
French striker David Ngog was signed by Rafael Benitez from Paris Saint-Germain in July 2008 and went on to make 94 appearances for Liverpool, scoring 19 goals.
The youngster made his Reds debut as a substitute against Aston Villa on August 31, 2008. A first goal followed away at PSV Eindhoven on December 9.
Injuries to Fernando Torres meant the No.24 was given a chance to flourish in 2009-10, and he notched a decent tally of eight goals in 24 appearances.
The highlight of his Liverpool career came on October 25, 2009, when Ngog displayed composure that defied his tender years by scoring a Kop-end goal in stoppage time to seal a 2-0 victory over Manchester United.
In 2010-11 he bagged another eight goals while operating largely as a deputy for Torres and later Luis Suarez and Andy Carroll.
He then bid farewell to the club on transfer deadline day in August 2011, joining Bolton Wanderers.
