Daniel Pacheco arrived at Anfield from Barcelona during the summer of 2007 with a reputation as a highly promising youngster.
Though diminutive in stature, the Spaniard possessed creativity in abundance and versatility to play across the forward line.
Pacheco was handed a first-team debut by Rafael Benitez as a substitute against Fiorentina in December 2009.
Having helped his country's U19 side reach the final of the 2010 European Championship, the forward helped Norwich City reach the Premier League with a productive loan spell towards the end of 2010-11.
Pacheco was then loaned to Atletico Madrid and subsequently Rayo Vallecano for the duration of 2011-12.
The striker returned to Merseyside and starred for the Reds' U21 side during the first half of 2012-13 before returning to Spain for a temporary move to Huesca in the Spanish Second Division. He notched five goals in 19 appearances there but could not prevent Huesca from suffering relegation.
On the final day of the 2013 summer transfer window, it was announced Pacheco had sealed a permanent transfer to AD Alcorcon.
