Adam Lallana signed off a six-year stay with Liverpool as part of the 2019-20 Premier League title-winning squad.

The versatile, skilful attacking midfielder arrived at Anfield in the summer of 2014 having helped Southampton climb from League One to the top flight, signed by Brendan Rodgers.

There were 41 appearances and six goals during his debut season, and Lallana's energy, pressing and use of the ball flourished following the appointment of Jürgen Klopp as manager.

He helped the Reds reach the finals of both the League Cup and Europa League in 2015-16 and then secure a return to Champions League football the following season.

Sadly, fitness issues afflicted the second half of Lallana's time at the club, though he appeared as a substitute in the 2018 European Cup final and was then on the bench when Klopp's side lifted the trophy in Madrid 12 months later.

He featured in 15 league games when Liverpool stormed to the title with 99 points in 2019-20, including a memorable late equaliser at Manchester United to help maintain the Reds' momentum early in the season.

Lallana was also involved in both matches when Liverpool clinched the FIFA Club World Cup for the first time in December of that campaign, as well as collecting a medal in the UEFA Super Cup.

Following the delayed end of a season that was interrupted due to the COVID-19 pandemic and with his contract expired, he said goodbye to the club and switched to Brighton & Hove Albion.
