Liverpool's Virgil van Dijk and Mohamed Salah were on the scoresheet for their countries on Monday.

Salah's solo run and strike drew Egypt level in their 1-1 draw with Guinea-Bissau, maintaining the Pharaohs' unbeaten start to qualification for the 2026 World Cup.

Van Dijk, meanwhile, headed home the Netherlands' second goal in a 4-0 victory over Iceland in their final warm-up fixture before Euro 2024, with Cody Gakpo also starting the contest.

Elsewhere, Kieran Morrison represented Northern Ireland U19s and was captain in a 1-1 home draw against Slovakia.

Alexis Mac Allister, Vitezslav Jaros and Ryan Gravenberch were unused substitutes for Argentina, Czechia and the Netherlands respectively.

On Sunday evening, Ibrahima Konate came off the bench in the 62nd minute of France's goalless draw with Canada.

Lewis Koumas received his second senior Wales cap when he appeared in the second half of their defeat by Slovakia.
