Sound Minds is designed to engage young people through the mediums of music, sport and art
The Sound Minds programme is a six-week Music and Mental Health programme for primary schools that uses drama, dance, art and music to explore the theme of mental health and wellbeing.
It is funded by the Signatur Programme, which is the umbrella name for The Karlsson Játiva Charitable Foundation’s work for the advancement of the art of music.
The programme is delivered in collaboration with professional music charity Amasing, Sound Minds will teach young people from the ages of eight to 21 years how to better understand and manage emotions and learn positive communication skills.
All Sound Minds participants take part in workshops and events designed to use the power of music, sport and art to feel better supported with their mental health, more connected, less isolated, have a voice, and feel part of the LFC Family.
