LFC FoundationRed Hot Beats

The ‘Red Hot Beats’ programme is a community mental health programme that delivers high quality events in the community for children, young people and their families.

It uses the synergy of the two world-famous pillars of Liverpool’s rich heritage, music and sport.

Wasabi Technologies, the club’s official cloud storage partner, part-fund and support the new scheme alongside LFC Foundation, which is delivered in six community centres across Merseyside.

The bespoke sessions are targeted at young people identified as struggling with their mental health and provides them with the essential tools to learn a wide variety of mental health and wellbeing skills and coping strategies, using the hook of music, arts and sports.

Music and art therapy helps to improve mood and cognitive function of participants, with the aims to help to improve overall emotional expression, communication and interpersonal skills, self-esteem, and have a positive impact on the quality of life of the young people.
