Proposed Anfield Stadium Expansion
We are proud to unveil our ambitious plans for an expanded stadium in a regenerated Anfield.
Liverpool City Council announced its plans to transform the Anfield area in October 2012 with a comprehensive regeneration plan. We confirmed our commitment to work in partnership with Liverpool City Council and Your Housing Group in their delivery of the Anfield regeneration project.
In addition to providing a vision of what the Anfield area can become, Liverpool City Council's regeneration plans gave LFC the opportunity to look again at the potential for expanding Anfield stadium which has been our home since the Club was founded and is rich in atmosphere, heritage and memories.
In order to move forward with our expansion plans LFC need to have certainty that we can navigate the complex planning landscape and secure the support of fans, the community, local home owners, businesses and other key stakeholders.
We are embarking upon a consultation process which will shape and inform our planning application.
