Inter Milan boss Andrea Stramaccioni says Holland star Wesley Sneijder, who has been linked with Liverpool, is on the verge of completing a move to Galatasaray.
The San Siro side accepted a bid from the Turkish team last week as they look to end his spell in Italy.
However, the 28-year-old has yet to sign terms with Galatasaray, with some suggesting he is waiting to see whether any English teams make him a last-ditch offer.
Both Manchester clubs have tracked the former Real Madrid in recent seasons, while both Tottenham and Liverpool have monitored him too.
But Stramaccioni is confident Sneijder will be on his way to Turkey very soon.
"I believe that we are now in the home stretch," he told Sky Sport 24.
"From my point of view as the Inter coach it is better for everyone if he moves on. Our transfer dealings depend on his sale."
