TalkSPORT: Clubs battle for De Vrij

Liverpool and Chelsea face a battle with Spartak Moscow to clinch the signing of Dutch star Stefan de Vrij.

The Feyenoord captain has been attracting interest from a number of top European clubs following his impressive displays in Holland.

Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers is hoping to make some signings in January and add another central defender to his squad.

Chelsea have also been linked with a move for the De Vrij and were rumoured to be considering a £10m move for his signature. But Spartak Moscow have entered the running to sign him and are set to open talks with the club in the near future.
