Spartak Moscow striker Emmanuel Emenike says he dreams of playing in the Premier League but has dismissed stories of a move to Liverpool as 'paper talk'.
Emenike recently impressed at the Africa Cup of Nations in helping Nigeria to glory and he finished the tournament as top scorer with four goals.
The 25-year-old, who joined Spartak from Fenerbahce in 2011, scored twice against Celtic in the UEFA Champions League group phase and has been linked with a £7million move to Liverpool.
However, while speculation of interest from Liverpool excites Emenike, he is waiting to see if he will have the opportunity to play in England.
"It is paper talk at the moment, but a club like Liverpool makes people dream," the forward told Sky Sports.
"Growing up in Africa, you hear about the Kop and you want to score goals at that end. It would be amazing, like winning the Africa Cup of Nations.
"I have always dreamed of playing in the Premier League and, if the opportunity arrives, I will be happy."
